Our client a big construction company is currently looking to hire an apprentice within the boundary zone of Hammersmith and Fulham.
As a Plumbing Apprentice you will be assisting a qualified Plumber in carrying out a variety of tasks including installing, repairing and maintaining hot and cold-water systems, installing and maintaining drainage systems and installing, maintaining and servicing mechanical systems.
You will gain experience as you work and, over time, would take on more responsibility for completing tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals. You may be required to work in, commercial premises or on building sites.
You will learn and acquire the skills necessary to become a competent Plumber and obtain all round knowledge of the construction processes leading to the finished product. The successful candidate will be required to continue the ongoing training provided at College and alongside this, receive on-site training in the workplace.
* 2 Years previous construction site experience.
* CSCS card.
* Enrolled on a Plumbing related NVQ.
* Will need to possess a sensible attitude and be willing to take on and understand instructions as required.
* Demonstrable commitment to the working environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work in a team.
* Ability to work in varied conditions ., internally and externally.
* The willingness to learn.
* Excellent time keeping.
* living in Hammersmith and Fulham borough.
Pay rate £6p/h.
4 year apprenticeship.
