Events Sous Chef Monday to Friday, 8.30am 4.30pm with paid overtime!!
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our clients growing team in London. This specialist event caterer produces high quality, stunning food for a wide range of events from weddings to events, private parties and occasions.
As the Sous Chef, you will be a vital part of the team and work closely with the Exec and Head Chef. You will produce extremely high quality dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients presented with flair and creativity. All senior chefs run events so you will be client facing and able to run jobs on your own or manage the team.
To be considered as a candidate, you will
be at Sous Chef level with a strong and proven work history
have a high quality work background ideally within events catering, restaurants or hotels
have excellent cookery skills and able to work with fresh seasonal ingredients
have a good eye for detail and presentation
be able to run events on your own or manage a team
be client facing and able to liaise with clients of all levels
have excellent communication skills
be genuinely passionate about food and ingredients
be flexible and willing with a positive can do attitude
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am 4.30pm with paid overtime. There are very occasional weekends (which are paid overtime) and the summer and Christmas are very quiet!
