Mental Health Band 5 Staff Nurse - Challenging Behaviour / Older Adult

£28k - 35.3k per year + 3 mths free accomm, £10,500 bonus, £5,000 relocation
Offering three months free accommodation - applications are invited from Registered Mental Health Nurses with experience with Challenging Behaviour and a genuine committment to working with older people to join the comprehensive service on the beautiful Island of Guernsey , in the Channel Islands. The Service has a four in-patient centres; including an assessment ward through to the later stages of an individual's experience of dementia, as well as Community Day Services.
Please note; Guernsey has adopted the AfC banding system, but have applied their own salary scale. The current Guernsey Band 6 salary is up to £34,173 plus an annual bonus of £1,120 and higher penalty rates; 36% evening/Saturday and 72% Sunday/BH

All of this is reliant on the excellent calibre of Nurses recruited to a very high standard.
Person requirements: Registered Mental Health Nurse with valid NMC Registration. Passionate about working with older people who display complex behaviours that challenge. The desire to work in a team and organisation committed to person-centred care and giving you time to care. This post is also open to enthusiastic graduate Nurses who are able to demonstrate specific interest and placement experience in Older Adult services and a genuine interest in developing into this sector further.
