We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contractor) to be an integral part of the People/HR team and collaborate with people from all departments and functions in EMEA. In this highly visible role you will support candidates and hiring managers through all stages of recruiting and on-boarding. He/she will be working with our Talent Acquisition Partner in the UK to provide candidates an amazing experience for through the EMEA region.

If you have a keen eye for organized details and love to interact with people on a daily basis while juggling multiple tasks- then Alation is where you want to be! We're looking for someone who's a real team player, shows initiative and able to navigate complex scenarios with a sense of urgency. This role is to be in our London location.

What You’ll Do:

  • In this contractor role, you will learn the ins-and-outs of the talent acquisition process and what it takes to grow a company.
  • Manage a high-volume Domestic/ Global scheduling of interviews (50+ Per- week): phone screens, video conferencing, work samples, presentations and onsite interviews.
  • Facilitate all interviews and act as the "first face" and Brand Ambassador for Alation as you interact with candidates.
  • Drive candidates' interview process by working closely with recruiters, interviewers, and hiring managers.
  • Greet and provide general support to candidates during on-site interviews.
  • Provide updates and communicate to candidates regularly via email or phone regarding their applicant/interview status as needed.
  • Develop strong client and stakeholder relationships (Hiring Managers, Recruiting) and maintain effective communication channels.
  • Multi-task and effectively prioritize and work in a dynamic, demanding environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve and streamline the talent acquisitions processes and workflows as we scale and grow the company.
  • Track and update candidate interactions in ATS (Lever).
  • Additional ad hoc duties and reporting/project work as needed by the Recruiting Coordination Team.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team on employee communications, employer branding, employee referral and other promotional programs

Who You Are

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Highly organized and detailed-oriented; ability to be flexible and handle simultaneous moving parts with a sense of urgency.
  • Good common sense, discernment – knowing when issues need to be called out, take action and resolve.
  • You have a passion for always maintaining a high quality candidate experience.
  • Ability to embrace change with a great attitude and be comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Ability to build and maintain partnerships.
  • You have a high willingness to learn.
  • You are a strong and and flexible team player.
  • You have experience with using multiple tools including ATS.
  • You are able to prioritize competing needs.
  • Ability to work with evolving systems and structures, demonstrating the flexibility to adapt to changing environments and regulations


  • 3+ years of experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or similar support role.
  • Familiarity with using a Mac and Google products (Google Mail, Calendar and Docs)
  • Understanding of interview workflow.
  • Polished and professional communication style.
  • Experience with using ATS and scheduling tools
