Recruit4staff is proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturer in their search for a Technical Compliance Officer to work in their leading facility in Shropshire

For the successful Technical Compliance Officer our client is offering;

  • Permanent position
  • Starting salary of £25,000 per annum

The Role of the Technical Compliance Officer will include:

  • Quality control in conjunction with the Head of Technical.
  • QA of High Care and Low Risk juicing facilities, including verification of QC checks and procedures. Maintain QC records and report findings to Head of Technical in a prompt and timely manner
  • Follow up Food Safety Issues
  • Assist in maintain and developing QMS to the BRC Standard
  • Measure and monitor product quality parameters, including pH, sugars, colour and taste
  • Internal auditing to BRC standards and above. Maintain records of internal audits and report findings to Head of Technical
  • Manage product calibration schedules and maintain calibration records and certificates
  • Support the Technical Team during third party audits
  • Product micro testing, including arranging samples, booking analysis and collating results. Reporting MRL data to Head of Technical and in compliance to the agreed budgetary schedule of analysis
  • Manage customer complaint investigations and corrective action process. Reporting complaints data to Head of Technical and keeping close communication with commercial
  • Supporting the Technical and quality teams across the whole of the business where necessary
  • Lead the daily taste panel
  • To ensure all product range with nutritional claims are tested as per the schedule.
  • Assisting all New Product Development with technical support.
  • Ensuring all nutritional analysis, shelf life and abuse trials are conducted in a timely fashion to enable launch of product
  • To assist the Marketing Manager with all legal labelling requirements
  • To monitor the health and wellbeing category for trends and competitor developments

What our client is looking for in a Technical Compliance Officer:

  • Food Hygiene Level 2, HACCP Level 3 essential
  • Previous QA experience
  • Excellent communication skill both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft products especially Excel, Outlook & Word
