Representing a fragrant historic UK brand, established by reputation and appointment to Her Majesty the Queen. The Regional Sales Manager will develop and grow existing accounts within the gifting industry, wholesale and UK grocers. Your experience and reputation will also help to assist and support the sales agents promoting the brand nationally.
SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000

LOCATION: Our distribution centre is based from Bedford and ideally you will be based within a 2 hour radius from here.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - Gift Industry / Luxury Gifts / Homeware
You will be working closely with the UK Sales Manager to ensure our existing accounts are grown and new business opportunities are secured. You will be required to be based within 2 hours of our Bedford distribution site and on occasion you will be required to support sales meetings with sales agents UK wide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Regional Sales Manager / Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager - Gift Industry / Luxury Gifts / Homeware
External Sales / Territory Sales experience: · We are keen to find an energetic and enthusiastic Regional Sales Manager. · It is imperative you are knowledgeable and successful of selling into the Gift Industry; such as Luxury Gifts, Homeware, Greeting Cards, Toiletries, Stationary and similar lines.
Sales Coaching and Sales Management: · You will have the natural ability and leadership skills to manage remote sales teams, (10 x sales agents). · Leading the sales strategy for Identifying and developing new major accounts across varied market sectors including Retailers, Garden Centre's and Wholesale.

Our Regional Sales Manager will need the following skills and experience:
· Able to create and prepare presentations and sales pitches. · Grow and develop your allocated account base. · Attend and network at trade shows. · Compile costing and stock proposals to meet buying schedules. · Manage and monitor the performance of your sales agents. · Analyse buying and selling trends across the regions and use data to set targets and forecasts. · Proactively support your external team of sales agents with product training and sales concepts. · Support and input ideas to NPD and business strategy for the UK market.
A traditional household fragrant manufacturer, offering a unique variety of candles and diffusers into the top grocers, wholesale and garden centres across the UK.
It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Regional Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, Account Manager, Sales Consultant. It would be advantageous to have worked in the following industry sectors; Luxury Gifts, Homeware, Greeting Cards, Toiletries, Stationary and similar lines within impulse buys or gifts.
