An exciting position has become available for a full-time Soft Services Supervisor based at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre North London. The successful candidate will earn £40,000-£42,000 dependant on experience.

The role is customer facing. The Soft Services Supervisor must at all times be polite, in control, have a good professional appearance, have good manners and display a level of trust and respect for employees, fellow colleagues, line management and our client’s management team.

The Soft Service Supervisor must abide by Company values at all times, ensuring loyalty, commitment, integrity, respect and excellent customer relations are maintained at all times.

Role Responsibilities (not limited to)

Maintain daily contact with Centre Operations Manager, Cleaning and Security


Maintain, manage and report to centre management all areas of cause for concern

Deal with all issues efficiently and in a professional manner

Control the ordering and issue of uniforms, monitor standard of cleanliness and repair

Complete monthly Compliance Audits on both Security and Cleaning and Waste Management delivery / standards

Ensure that all site documentation is reviewed on a regular weekly / monthly basis and is up to date and, where required, amend for consideration by the client

Monitor (and regularly review with the ASG Regional Operations Director) staff performance via monthly appraisals (QIR/Welfare audits) and through the completion of annual individual appraisal

Manage employee relations issues on site (disciplinary issues, grievance issues, maternity, paternity etc.) under the guidance and supervision of the ASG Regional Operations Director

Monitor and record unreported staff absences. Manage attendance of site staff (Bradford Factor) Liaising with the ASG Regional Operations Director as appropriate

Ensure that Security Control Room is kept in a clean and tidy state and that Housekeeping rules are adhered to

Manage all “additional cover” in security and cleaning and waste management services in conjunction with ASG protocol

Ensure that safe working practices are adhered to at all times

Act as the initial point of contact for centre management and all ASG employees

Advise all employees of centre safety induction procedures such as fire / bomb evacuation, crisis plan and out of hours work restrictions
