Location: Northern UK / Scotland coverage (desk based)
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000
Package: Car allowance £270 p/m, annual bonus 2x monthly earnings.
A globally based manufacturer & distributor of bespoke medical & pharmaceutical equipment is currently seeking an experienced technical sales engineer to take over from a long-standing employee to manage the Northern England and Scotland region in a (currently) home-based role. The position typically offers the flexibility to travel and meet customers / established distributors as a relationship building exercise.
This is a position for an individual possessing good knowledge of mechanical specifications, and those with a lab equipment sales background will be highly regarded. Additionally as a persona, someone personable with good relationship building skills and experience in managing large accounts within this field would be well sought after.
Experience in hands-on machine assembly, on-site installation, commissioning, validation and continued after sales service of equipment specifically within their field will also considered.
Professional representative of the business and distributor management
Sales forecasting, reporting and stats analysis
Preparation of quotations and follow-up with the customer
Attendance of trade shows and exhibitions
Client meetings, presentations and workshops
Factory coordination for delivery and costings
Liaising with Engineering for design
Customer specification reviews
Management of CRM system
Develop company profile alongside marketing for new literature, signage and tools to be used at exhibitions and trade shows
Aid and assist event organisation
Collaborate with service team to enhance new equipment sales
