Data Migration Analyst

Our client, a leading Financial Software organisation based in Kingston are looking for a Data Migration Analyst to project manage the onboarding of new clients and migrate their data from their current CRM onto the new software.

The role of the Data Migration Analyst is to liaise with clients, project manage and undertake the implementation and configuration of the organisations move to the new software. Extract data from various 3rd party solutions from formats such as Access, Excel, Filemaker and SQL (to name but four) . Support in cleansing extracted data with the intention of importing into the new software. Help with documenting processes to support the Data Migration department and its functions.

Implementation Specific:
* Work with the Onboarding Team throughout the implementation process ensuring configuration requirements are fully captured and configured in preparation for the client's Go-Live date

Work with new customers to ensure:-
* Update implementation projects as necessary
* Keep in contact or on occasion meet with the Client to discuss data migration requirements
* Ensure the project has completed all outstanding deliverables assigned

Data Migration Specific:
* Work with Sales Team and assist with the acquisition of new accounts
* Work with the Onboarding Team to ensure data migration requirements are fully captured and understood, helping with the cleansing of client data when required
* Work with Customer Relationship Managers keeping them abreast of new acquisition projects
* Liaise with Service Delivery to ensure all scripts used are current and fulfil requirements for Data Migrations and Implementations
* Research and undertake necessary business analysis to help with the design and creation of new data extract and data import services
* Creation of SQL scripts to assist with further data extracts, cleansing and / or imports

Project Management Specific:
* Work alongside the Onboarding Team throughout the entire project life cycle to ensure their go-live date and milestones are met along the way
* Ensure the customer has a point of contact throughout their project life cycle

Knowledge required:
* Highly proficiency in Excel
* Microsoft Office/PC skills, including Access and Word
* Knowledge and use of SQL Querying
* Powershell scripting advantageous
* Experience in a Data Analyst or Business Analyst role preferable
* Experience within a financial services institution with specific experience in project management and data migration

* Ability to thrive both in an independent and team environment
* Ability to prioritise effectively and handle shifting priorities professionally
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Some experience of client facing exposure or project management of implementing web-based systems
