Key Duties

- Support learners, on a one to one basis and within workshops (if required), to achieve qualifications detailed within their individual learning plan.

- Carry out all organisational and administrative work, preparation and marking associated with teaching and assessment responsibilities.

- Fully engage learners and employers in the learning process

- Undertake Internal Quality Assurers activities (If qualified/required)

- Ensure teaching and assessment practices are good as defined by Ofsted and maintain quality standards as defined by internal and external quality assurers

- Maintain accurate, up to date records of all assessment activities and support the recruitment and sign-up of new learners

- Work in partnership with Skills Coaches (who teach Functional Skills) to support effective delivery to learners

- Deliver high quality teaching, coaching, assessing through blended learning to verifying skills, knowledge and competence of learners

- Be accountable for the accurate tracking and reporting of learner progress against plan using digital portfolio

- Conduct timely progress reviews with all learner in your caseload in line with delivery model and stakeholder requirements

- Manage and maintain quality and compliance measures against targets; access management reporting systems to keep up to date with relevant compliance measures.

- Where required, invigilate learner tests to the frequency needed both internally and externally to ensure awarding body compliance

- Keep up to date with and adhere to company, policies and procedures at all times

- Provide high levels of customer service to learners and employers at all times

- Support internal stakeholders with accurate forecasting of learner activity and providing information and documents as required

- Work to maintain a full caseload, managing learners to complete their learning on time

- Contribute positively to growth of the business by controlling costs

Qualifications and Experience

* Cava/A1 Assessor Qualification

* Level 3 Diploma – Dental Nursing

* Functional Skills Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent)

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Dental Nurse

* Active GDC registrant
