Salary: £31,000 per annum (£15.50 per hour) + excellent benefits

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a skilled and enthusiastic Unit Manager ( RGN / RMN / RNLD ) to work in a beautiful nursing home on the edge of Blackburn centre. This home is ideally situated within easy reach of local shops, public transport and motorway links. This bright and friendly purpose built care home offers fantastic facilities including warm and cosy lounge areas, a hair stylist and delicious home cooked daily meals. The home offers a warm and welcoming environment for the residents and their families.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading healthcare in one of their highly reputable nursing homes in Blackburn. The home boasts an excellent reputation for the high quality of care that they provide and a good CQC rating. This service provides nursing, respite and convalescent care to elderly residents and residents with dementia. This versatile service also provides care for residents with head/ brain injury, schizophrenia, as well as visual and speech impairment. The Home Manager is looking for a passionate Unit Manager (RGN/ RMN/ RNLD) to ensure the smooth running of the unit at all times. The manager is very flexible and can accommodate both full time days or nights for this position.

Person Specification: Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse of any specialism ( RGN, RMN or RNLD all considered). All candidates must have a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Nurses must have good communication skills, a hard-working nature and the willingness to get stuck in. Previous managerial experience is essential for this position.
