To excel in this role, you'll need

  1. Build a highly successful team, across multiple disciplines. Enabling Exascale to be the most successful and largest Full Fibre network in the West Midlands.

  2. You'll ensure we identify, and successfully compete for and close the best talent in both Telecoms and Digital in the UK. Regardless of their backgrounds.

  3. Ensure Exascale grow to near 270 FTEs over 5 years

  4. You'll report to the CEO, as securing the best Talent is key to Exascale's success

What you'll bring to the role

  • 5+ years recruiting experience within Telecoms and Digital.

  • Proactively and efficiently build a pipeline of top tier talent, spotting hidden gems and tracking candidates for future opportunities too.

  • Strong across every stage of the process, from sourcing to closing.

  • Ensure we have a structured, transparent, and repeatable interview process that's tailored to our values while minimizing bias. As part of this you'll coach hiring managers on what's required of them.

  • Select and implement a technical toolset that streamlines the interview process and helps us understand what to optimize.

  • Ensure candidates have a great experience.

  • Successfully sell Exascale to the most sought-after candidates.

  • Identify candidates that fit our values and culture.

  • Understand what offer packages are appropriate for Exascale's stage and ambition.

  • Build and manage a recruiting team over time (in-sourced & out-sourced).

  • Maintain relationships with individuals you hire over time to ensure they enjoy their time at Exascale to limit attrition.

  • Ability to differentiate between A+ and A- candidates.

  • Startup experience desirable.
