ROLE- Operations Clerk / Sales Order Administrator


TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £20,000 - £22,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

My client works within the manufacturing sector, and they are looking to take on an Operations Clerk / Sales Order Administrator, on a permanent basis, in the Bedford area.

The Operations Clerk / Sales Order Administrator will ideally have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar Administrative role - any experience working with another Engineering or Manufacturing company would be desirable
  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent (A-C in English & Maths)
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proficient with using MS Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
  • The ability to work well alone or as part of a team

The Operations Clerk / Sales Order Administrator role will involve:

  • Processing customer orders into manufacturing / purchase requirements
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Supporting the Operations team
  • Entering sales orders from order entry through to invoicing
  • Preparing all documentation for export orders
  • Ensuring that all department filing, and records are updated
  • Working within an ISO9001 environment
