Are you good at property maintenance?
Here at Paine’s Mill Foyer in St Neots we want to deliver excellent Support Services which are both individualised and customer-led. Due to growth in the team we are now looking for an Estates Services officer to join us on a permanent basis for 16 hrs per week. In this vital role at our scheme your experience of property maintenance will help us to improve lives.
When you join us as an Estates Services Officer the work you do each day will directly contribute to the first impression for anyone visiting and joining our scheme. You will undertake property and estate maintenance within health and safety guidelines. You’ll need be confident in general repairs both internally and externally as you will be carrying out minor buildings repairs as well as fixtures repairs. You will also be responsible for the presentation of the scheme.
In addition, you will work alongside colleagues to ensure preventative maintenance is carried which ensures the foyer is safe and fit for purpose. With a keen attention to detail you’ll need to be comfortable in carrying out site inspections, completing reports and reporting any damage or concerns to the service manager.
Previously you will have worked in a role whereby you have carried out minor property repairs, decorating, maintenance and developed experience of wide range of services such as painting, decorating cleaning, minor joinery and plumbing work. Your application will need to demonstrate this and detail your experience of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
