About the role:

Due to our continued growth we are looking to strengthen our Talent Attraction team and recruit a commercially minded In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist. Bringing with you a wealth of knowledge, you will have experience in delivering an efficient, first class service. You will have a proven track record of delivering solid resourcing capabilities in a fast paced environment to challenging deadlines and delivering a full lifecycle of recruitment and selection. The In-House Talent Acquisition Specialist will be a critical part of the Human Resources team, and work closely with our HR colleagues, the wider business, and the external market place to make sure that we have the right people, with the right skills, in the right locations to deliver our vision.

This role will be based in our London Training Centre, Crawley West Sussex, and you will be required to be on site a minimum of 3 days per week.

Day to day responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Work with recruiting managers to fully understand requirements for each role and determine the best route to market

  • Ensure clear Job Descriptions and associated recruitment documentation is used to ensure the business attracts the right candidates

  • Be responsible for posting all roles, using People Fluent, on our available resources including roles for International sites

  • Direct source for the best talent; LinkedIn Recruiter, CV database searching, social media, advertising, networking, events

  • Review incoming applications, via inhouse system People Fluent, and actively source passive candidates

  • Conduct initial screening calls, online and /or in person interviews to gather all relevant information, then evaluate and qualify potential candidates for the next steps in the recruitment process

  • Provide qualified candidate shortlists and candidate insight for hiring managers. Coordinate and schedule telephone interviews with hiring managers

  • Coordinate and schedule second and final round interviews with the hiring managers

  • Generate a healthy and diverse pipeline for our open positions.

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers and external stakeholder such as local schools and colleges

  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires, via People Fluent

  • Update job descriptions - . add tasks or modify requirements

  • Answer candidates’ queries regarding the application process

  • Complete full cycle of recruitment process including issue of contracts and new hire onboarding process

  • Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate

  • Manage our agreements and act as POC with our Agency suppliers

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrable experience of recruitment either in an Inhouse or Recruitment Agency role

  • Direct sourcing experience including job boards and LinkedIn Recruiter

  • Solid understanding and experience of the recruitment lifecycle

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

  • Ability to plan and prioritize effectively a varied and demanding workload to time and quality deadlines

  • A collaborative and flexible approach with evidence of looking for solutions rather than problems

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, ideally up to intermediate level

  • Ideally worked in a fast-paced, changing business environment

  • Pro-active, self-motivated and able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

  • Experience of using People Fluent will be beneficial

  • Self-motivated, confident and enthusiastic

  • Recent experience in pro-actively managing a talent pipeline
