Working within our fast-paced Warehouse department, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for ensuring all finished products are ready for despatch. This process involves the receiving, storing, issuing and handling of all components and packaging.

If you enjoy working in a busy warehouse environment and can drive a Reach Truck / Counterbalance FLT this is an excellent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

To receive and locate incoming goods from both internal and external suppliers following goods inward inspection, or return from assembly areas

To prepare components and packaging for issue to meet assembly requirements in line with issue sheets and shortage notes from Production Control

To load and unload delivery and collection vehicles and locate pallets using the appropriate fork lift truck

Issue components and packaging to assembly ensuring batch numbers and quantities correspond to issue sheets

To check and prepare all products for despatch ready for collection or delivery

Maintain cleanliness and a high standard of housekeeping within required areas

Carry out physical stock checks of all stored items as and when specified by Stock & Process Manager or Warehouse Supervisor

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Previous experience of working within a warehouse environment

Reach Truck / Counterbalance FLT experience

Enjoy working in a fast-paced role and thrive under pressure

Excellent attention to detail

Good numeracy and literacy skills

Excellent team working skills
