Support Worker: Job Description

I am a man in my early 20’s with Autism I need a support worker to assist me in all areas of my personal, domestic and social life, both at home and in the community. Your role is to enable me to develop my independent skills and live an independent life.

I am a friendly and loving individual with a lot to give to the people in my life. However, I do have anxiety and if my anxiety is high, I sometimes demonstrate challenging behaviours. When I build trust and positive relationships with support workers, this improves and I am able to find success and develop independence. If you think you could invest the time to support me, please make an application and take the opportunity to meet me and my family.

You must be reliable, able to work flexible hours and you must respect me and my choices. I hope to employ someone who has a caring and patient nature and has a genuine desire to make a positive impact on my life.
