Office Administrator/Receptionist - Reading, RG1 6NL
We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join our client's charity-run Care Home in central Reading.
Our client's home is a charity-run care home providing a friendly, dependable and trustworthy service, delivered by a team of specialists who have extensive experience in care and are compassionate to their residents. The home is a purpose-built house with 28 in-suite single rooms.
Our client is looking for an experienced office administrator to play a vital role in the customer service and organisational strength of the Care Home. You will have worked, ideally, as an administrator in the care sector previously. You will have experience working with Payroll.
Full-time ( hours per week)
Salary: £- per hour
Responsible to: The Manager of the house or in the absence to the Deputy Manager of the house.
You will be managing the administrative systems and processes to the highest standard to help our Manager and the team run the home both safely and effectively. Assist the Manager with administrative tasks related to their role.
The ideal candidate will:
Experience in providing administrative support to managers ideally in a care home or the care sector.
Highly organised, good time management skills; able to multi-task and re-prioritise when circumstances change.
Collaborative working style and a supportive team member.
Good attention to detail, able to spot errors in written information or numerical data.
IT literacy - competent with the use of systems (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Good written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills
A minimum of two GCSE's, one of which must be English language.
Excellent written and verbal English
A passion for working with people.
