What we’re looking for

A data informed B2B Marketing Manager to take a key role in building the Perlego community around the world. As an early member of the marketing team, you’ll wear many demand generation and channel marketing hats - from driving awareness, to launching campaigns, to optimising our lead funnel, to helping guide and set the strategy. Ultimately driving revenue growth to exceed our ambitious growth targets.

How we work together

You will report into the VP of Marketing sitting within the wider Revenue team which is made up of Marketing, Partnerships (Sales), Brand & Growth. You will work closely with your sales, marketing and brand team mates.

What you’ll do

  • Build the strategic foundations for how our marketing team generates demand and drives the sales pipeline and the new processes, systems, and structures needed to execute on it

  • Partner with sales on targets, campaigns, scoring, follow-up strategies, lead management, and reporting to grow existing channels and establish new pipelines in order to exceed revenue targets

  • Launch integrated campaigns leveraging the right mix of demand generation tactics (across content, email, web, paid advertising, virtual events and more) to drive qualified prospective customers to the funnel and engage them with the right messaging

  • Manage budgets, leverage insights, measure and report on pipeline targets, and continually optimise campaigns to increase return on investment

  • Develop sales enablement tools to ensure consolidated and consistent messaging

Requirements

It’s the perfect role for you if you have:

  • 3-5+ years of work experience in B2B marketing

  • Experience in a multi-dimensional role implementing marketing strategies and demand generation programs that have consistently contributed to exceeding revenue targets

  • Experience with managing a CRM, list acquisition and marketing automation

  • Experience running campaigns across multiple channels including SEM, display, email, social, web and events

  • The ability to own a process from start to finish and have strong project management skills; from running workshops to copy writing and campaign execution

  • Excellent communication skills and are able to communicate complex ideas simply and clearly with an actionable plan

  • A passion for analysing data to make informed decisions and to test your theories

  • A passion for customers and really understanding their challenges and needs

  • Energy, passion and a sleeves-rolled-up mentality: you’re a self-starter who can think quick, act fast and deal with ambiguity

It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience working for an education business, specifically Ed-tech

  • Experience working in SalesFlare to create and manage email nurture programs

  • Advanced experience with email marketing automation tools

  • Experience in a fast pace, ambiguous environment

  • Have a general interest in books, reading and always learning new things!

What success looks like in 12 months:

  • Developed and implemented an on-going targeted demand generation strategy

  • Set up the processes and systems to collaborate with sales to measure and optimise performance

Benefits

Salary range available:

£58,000 - £63,000
