Position: Hygiene Technician

Location: Glasgow, Head Office

Job Type: Full time, Permanent Mon - Fri

Salary: £18,

Purpose of Role:

As the Hygiene Technician, your main role is to ensure the factory and site is kept in a clean and hygienic condition as detailed in the cleaning procedures. Making sure the quality of all aspects of work carried out is to the highest standard possible, whilst constantly striving towards departmental aims.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in a logistics / warehouse / despatch environment
Ensure that all areas are kept to a high standard of cleanliness
All work carried out is to be recorded accurately
All legal and Health and Safety requirements must be met.
All accidents are to be reported to a member of Production Management
All potential hazards should be reported as soon as possible.
All parts of the factory should be kept in a tidy, organised fashion, in constant readiness for ‘third party audits.
Administration activities should be carried out in a correct and professional manner at all times


Previous experience in a similar role
Ability to work on your own with minimum supervision.
Ideally you will come from a fast moving manufacturing environment
Ability to follow procedures and policies to a high standardSkills / Knowledge


Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to build rapport with colleagues across the organisation
Good written and oral communication skills
Computer literate including use of Word and Excel
Good manual dexterity
Excellent planning and organisation skills to manage own workload to expected standards
