A legal firm in London are on the search for a Marketing and BD specialist (with industry experience) to join their team on an inital 6 month contract.

We need a capable and enthusiastic manager to support the M&BD team in BD and marketing activities for the Antitrust, Competition and Economic Regulation (ACER) and International Trade and Investment practices - a broad, international remit across fast-paced and interesting areas of law. This is a global role that will support the practice teams in London, and will also work closely with lawyers and M&BD colleagues in the ., Continental Europe, and Asia.
As the London office M&BD resident, this role will be advising and supporting London partners and lawyers in implementing the office strategy, preparing the business plan, ensuring communication within the office, facilitating cross selling, business generation and client development.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
BD Planning and Analysis
Support the practice leads on the formulation and execution of time bound, objective-driven integrated campaigns and business development plans.
Work with partners to develop and implement BD activities, proposed plans and budgets.
Pitching, Targeting and New Business Generation
Implement client relationship management initiatives and client listening programs. Act as "Client Account Manager" for some of the firm's key clients.
Manage pitches and collaborate with the pitch team (where appropriate)
Maintain key M&BD resources including ACER and International Trade and Investment's experience tracker, master credentials documents, and relevant pages on (url removed).
Ensure global team lists are kept up to date with new joiners, leavers and promotions.
Assist in the production of internal communications for the practice.
Assist in providing support around client events and webinars in conjunction with the Events team.
Assist in the drafting, review, collation and update of practice entries in directories and award submissions.
Liaise with the firm's design agency using their online portal to create various client facing marketing materials.
Assist in the preparation of the production and uploading of client alerts and articles on the Hogan Lovells knowledge platform: Engage.
Develop social media content for practice channels on Twitter and LinkedIn.
Wider BD Projects and Administrative Tasks
Support the ACER and International Trade and Investment Leadership team and M&BD team with meeting planning and administrative support including preparation of internal reports.
Contribute to the wider M&BD effort, which will include participating in specific firm-wide M&BD initiatives and projects, as required.
Skills and Experience
A general understanding of the commercial world and its drivers.

Good written and verbal communication skills with an excellent eye for detail and the ability to write compelling propositions.
