Shift pattern: Nights Sunday - Thursday (hours to be discussed at interview)

Take leadership responsibility for managing a safe and efficient transport environment. To maximise the performance of drivers and supervisors by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities; providing leadership, motivation, training and development to the workforce. Instill a "Safety First" culture and ensure that H&S and legal compliance standards and targets are adhered to. "Makes DHL a great place to work". Works in partnership with the site team and customer and develops strong relationships within their network. Work closely with the Warehouse team to deliver a cohesive service with high service levels

- Demonstrate an active leadership style, having accountability and shared responsibility for driving an engagement culture in the operation
- Take responsibility for managing and running a safe operation and driving a Safety First Culture with all individuals in the operation by applying and improving the Safety Standards
- Respond to or escalate Subcontractor issues within clear guidelines and recommend solutions
- Participate in regular management reviews to review performance, audit results, compliance, conformity,
- Suggest local changes affecting the work or team to line manager to further support continuous improvement

- 2 to 5 years operational experience
- Transport Management
- Knowledge of Microlise
- National and International CPC
