In this role you’ll be contributing to a multi-year programme of organisational modernisation and business change. As part of Orbis, a shared services partnership between Brighton and Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council, and Surrey County Council, you’ll have exposure and opportunities beyond the immediate Council, should you wish.
You’ll be based in our modern open plan offices in the city centre and benefit from flexible working. Joining our energetic and supportive team working closely with Agile development teams to deliver improvements to the council and Brighton and Hove citizens. The council is committed to the continued development of staff, so both formal and informal training will be provided.
This role resides in IT & Digital's Platform Engineering team which provides an emerging DevOps function within the Digital and Data service area and support for corporate platforms . It’s an exciting technical role implementing and supporting leading enterprise development, integration, identity management and content management platforms, reporting, data visualisation and Master Data Management systems. We support an Agile development environment (Scrum and Kanban) and work closely with IT Infrastructure, development and business support teams.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
