Junior Sous Chef
The salary for this role is n the region of £24,000 plus service charge ( approx. £1,800 per annum, depended on sales) and annual bonus
The Junior Sous Chef role:
The Junior Sous Chef's role will be to support the Executive Chef, Head Chefs and Sous Chef with the day to day running of the Kitchen operation. You will ensure all Food Safety and Health & Safety reporting is up to date. As Junior Sous Chef you will assist in maintaining standards set by the Executive Chef and ensuring that quality products and ingredients are used and served at all times. As Junior Sous Chef you will be responsible for mentoring and developing a talented team of chefs and apprentices. This is a fantastic opportunity to progress your career within a 5* hospitality environment.
The Junior Sous Chef will:
- Have relevant experience in 4-5 Star kitchens. NVQ level 1&2 or similar. Level 3 beneficial.
- Will have a Basic Food Hygiene certificate or Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate.
- Have good leadership skills and a team player.
- Be a good communicator.
- Have excellent communication skills, confident to run service and train the team.
