A fabulous opportunity for a SAP WMS Administrator to join a fast paced but fun and friendly team?

My client, an established manufacturing business based in Yardley is currently looking for a SAP/Warehouse Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient administration service for the Warehouse Operations department utilising all available resources efficiently and effectively; to support Warehouse Operations management and staff and ensure that the integrity of all materials and administrative processes throughout the Operation and customer supply chain are 100%.

Weekly payDuties/Responsibilities:

Produce, manage and monitor Operations documentation, including inbound, picking stock counting and delivery paperwork
Receive, log and file all Operations paperwork and maintain appropriate physical and electronic filing systems
Be conversant with all appropriate IT systems to process daily activity and produce weekly/monthly statistical reports to meet operational deadlines
Input Customer delivery address details, restrictions and selecting the correct varying delivery services by customer delivery point into 3rd party logistics systems to produce delivery labels and documentation for despatch
Deal with all communication both internal and external, ensuring accurate, timely information is recorded and supplied
Actively work to achieve the department timescales and targets agreed by your manager
Provide feedback to your manager, relating to progress of work, ensuring potential problem areas are identified quickly
Attend and actively participate in relevant meetings and briefs as required and to be actively involved in putting ideas forward to improve Operations efficiency
Actively participate in training/retraining programme in order to maintain the required levels of competence and improve flexibility in the work areaSkills/Experience Required:

Previous extensive SAP WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) experience is essential
A good standard of general education to "A" level or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Have a confident and responsible approach when dealing with general day to day enquiries from both internal/external sources
Strong administrative, statistical analysis and problem-solving skills
A good ability to plan and prioritise
Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
Knowledge and experience of logistical operations and stock control methods with a minimum of 3 years exposure to a FMCG distribution environment
Flexibility with regards to working hours
Have a good understanding of all Administration procedures including filing systems
