Location: East Anglia Due to an increased demand for training, a fantastic opportunity exists for an Assessor/ Development Advisor to join the Blue Sky team, based in East Anglia.

Blue Sky Assessing is a flexible training provider of Apprenticeships.
Our head office is based in Suffolk, however some of our assessors do work remotely from home and travel to customer sites.
As a member of the Blue Sky team you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of learners, supporting them on their apprenticeship journey.
We also ask our assessors to proactively generate new and repeat business to maximize funding opportunities for Blue Sky.
What We Offer… Lifelong Learning – Friendly Team – Making a Difference You’ll work for an honest organisation that believes in doing the right thing You’ll make a positive difference to the lives of our apprentices You’ll join a small, supportive and inclusive team who you can be yourself with You’ll belong to a company that values your opinion and involves you in decisions You’ll work for a company that cares about their staff and their well-being to allow them to perform their best at work We also offer the opportunity for flexible working What you need to provide for Blue Sky learners… A positive apprenticeship experience, with end to end support on their journey, from enrolment through to gateway and end point assessment Support completing their assessments and provide them with constructive feedback throughout – both verbally and written On-going coaching and advice to challenge them to achieve their full potential Support during their end point assessment preparations, sharing advice and knowledge to enable them to complete in a timely manner A commitment to build strong working relationships with the company they work for, to ensure they are supported to deliver within their roles What we expect from you… The ability to build strong working relationships with the team, with learners and with external stakeholders A commitment to constantly seek to improve the effectiveness of training by applying rigorous self-assessment and current best practice methods Commitment to undertake safeguarding training to effectively manage the safeguarding of learners The ability to develop common processes aligned to area of responsibility that will support the induction, sign-up, review, assessment, health, safety and welfare of all learners Support the Director with the implementation of continuous improvement practices through regular feedback to improve the overall learner experience Complete learners in a timely manner, whilst maintaining quality To provide management information in a timely and accurate manner, reporting for internal and external audits as required The ability to be flexible to undertake other reasonable responsibilities and projects when required To be successful in this role you will need to be: Able to work using your own initiative and implement a targeted, deadline-driven approach Proactive about and take ownership of all aspects of administration, IT, and business development activities Highly organised and with a planned approach and good attention to detail A strong team player, able to work independently, whilst sharing knowledge with the rest of the team Able to quickly build relationships with stakeholders using excellent interpersonal skills Confident to challenge established practices, suggesting imaginative solutions to problems Essential requirements Previous assessor experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Competent using Microsoft software including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint Flexible attitude Full training will be provided.
