Here at Vision for Education we are looking for a 1:1 SEND Support Assistant, who is able to work closely with a specific pupil who requires assistance fulfilling their educational needs, helping them reach their full capabilities.
Within the role of 1:1 SEND Support Assistant you will work within a number of different schools, helping to assist the needs of pupils who requires extra support due to their SEND needs.
To be considered for the 1:1 SEND Support Assistant position, you will need to:
- Explain tasks clearly, helping the pupil to achieve the best results they can.
- Work closely with the class teacher to understand the needs of the child, both personal and educational.
- Offer positive feedback to the child, whilst directing them on where to improve.
- Apply the school's policies in regard to behaviour, marking and safeguarding where necessary.
