Senior IT Security Sales Engineer 55 k Basic 20 Bonus plus benefits .

Our client provides cloud-based solutions that protect small- and mid-sized businesses worldwide from existing and evolving cybersecurity threats. We are hiring for a Channel Sales Engineer for our UK Office.

Channel Sales Engineers are the primary technical resource for the sales force and act as the liaison to help prospective customers evaluate clients products and services through a trial period and fully onboarding them. A Technical Sales Engineer must enjoy working with people and technology and have the ability to interact with sales, billing and support as well as have excellent customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills. They will be responsible for new Channel Partner acquisition and management of existing strategic Channel Partner accounts.

You will be engaged in.......

  • New Partner acquisition working with Sales, Marketing and Events teams to grow MSP's in the EMEA region. Articulating the value of our clients solutions.

  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Channel Prospects and Partners, building relationships at all levels

  • Provide technical and non-technical support and guidance to clients or other staff members regarding the use, operation, and maintenance of our clients services

  • Deliver clear and effective presentations to pilot implementations

  • Comfortably presenting to individuals and groups - demonstrating the value of Channel trade shows, Peer Groups and Partner events

  • Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users

  • Work in conjunction with our sales team to ensure prospects enjoy a positive and productive experience while evaluating and provide assistance for onboarding Services

  • Maintain full knowledge and hands-on proficiency with all company product lines and major competitors' product lines

  • Translate customer business issues/opportunities into technical solutions/business requirements and managing Partner Escalations.

  • Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering on developing new products and how to improve existing products

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment

The Successful candidate will possess

  • Channel Engineering Sales experience recruiting and growing MSP's.

  • An Understanding of Email Cybersecurity, Data Compliance and Microsoft 365 technology and backup

  • An ability to attend Channel trade shows, Partner and company events (travel required)

  • Extensive knowledge of information technology, computer environments, networking, troubleshooting, configuration, implementation, and applications

  • Comprehensive understanding of networking technology - Windows networking, Active Directory, DNS Topology

  • Ability to troubleshoot complex issues remotely via phone/live chat/ticket

  • Love and passion for helping customers and delivering a Phenomenal experience

  • Ability to prioritize and work responsibly with or without direct supervision

  • Ability to Multi-Task, manage tickets, chats, and phone calls simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills required, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate and educate others about complex technology
