Have you been working in an internal sales role and are now ready for a new challenge where you will be part of a corporate business and be responsible for taking all incoming calls and converting them? This role, is NOT your typical sales role as it really is a varied sales role where you will get involved with sales, account management and a small amount of project management. This however is NOT a project management role as it is very much based around sales and revenue figures – thus you must have previous dealings in this arena.
The role requires a “can do” proactive sales person who is driven by targets to achieve. This is not a quick sale though, so you will be involved with creating quotes thus an eye for detail and accuracy is essential and you will need to liaise with different departments to understand the logistical side of a project. The role has a technical bias to it thus it is important that you like and have an ability to pick up and retain technical information. Working within a small sales team of 7 you will enjoy being the person that relationship builds with customers and ensures that you win that business and the order. Clients will vary from large organisations to SME’s, processes are in place to be followed - but you need a probing and inquisitive mind to ensure you are recommending the right products to your Customers. This is not a Call centre environment where you will be dealing with hundreds of calls per day it is a consultative sale thus can have longer lead times, thus the follow up is an essential part of the role.
Candidates will need to have previous experience of dealing with customers over the phone and have had exposure of the sales process. A great career move for someone as this company is going through huge growth and joining at this time and in this department will mean you will learn the industry and play a pivotal part in this company’s future. A corporate business who is looking for their next new star is how I would describe this company, a nice feel to the office, working with a great Manager who is there to teach you the Industry and mentor you, this company has a very low turnover of staff, so it is not often they recruit – it is purely due to growth and their expansion over the last year that this role has been created.
Salary £30,000 + commission with an OTE of £ 36,000+
Monday to Friday – The role is office based and will not involve cold calling or being out on the road
