Job Title: Raw Materials & Supplier Technician / Quality Administrator
A chance to work for a family run and successful food manufacturing company in Doncaster and be part of a long standing and committed team.
This is a brand new Raw Materials & Supplier Technician / Quality Administrator role to the company so there's a chance to really make the role your own and grow as the company does.
As Raw Materials & Supplier Technician / Quality Administrator your time will be split between the office and factory and you will ensure quality of products and quality and technical procedures are being followed. Ensuring that quality, integrity, legalities, food safety and health & safety procedures are followed and maintained at all times.

Offering a competitive salary, working hours 8:30-5:30 Monday - Friday with chance of paid over time at some weekends and on site parking.
*Work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure all suppliers meet approval requirements and escalate where potential supply risks exist
*Keep the supplier approval database up to date
*Assist the Technical Manager in writing Raw Material specifications
*Ensure that all ingredients used both in full scale production and new product development comply to customer requirements
*Assist in the maintenance of site traceability records.
*Review and update documentation and procedures as instructed by the Technical Manager
*Other adhoc general admin duties
*Previous experience working within a Technical or quality role is essential
*Experience working within food manufacturing is desirable, but the successful candidate must have at least worked within manufacturing previously
*Able to communicate at all levels
*A strong passion for quality and technical with ambitions for continuous improvements and promoting a positive food safety culture
*Able to work well within a team but also stand alone and be a self-motivated individual who is confident, flexible and proactive and can work well under pressure and to target deadlines
