AV Project Manager Our client is a Wimbledon based AV integrator and live events company with almost 50 years industry experience. They put on top shows and undertake outstanding installation across London, the UK and the world. They have worked with some of the worlds most premium brands including the BBC, Adidas and Gucci. They are looking for an experienced AV project manager to join their team, you will be based from the Wimbledon office overseeing the running of multiple fixed installation projects. You will be the first point of contact for the client if they have any issues so you must have exceptional AV knowledge to deal with any queries or issues that may arise. Some of their clients are blue chip companies that expect a high level of service, you must be able to competently deal with high demand clients in pressurised scenarios. This role is a great opportunity to join an industry leading company, in a role that is demanding but rewarding, the company has a great benefits including enhanced paternity pay, committed training schedules and even tickets to shows and productions Key Duties and Responsibilities:Undertaking this role you will carry out the following:Liaison with Sales and Designer teams at all stages of the projectProcurement of materialsScheduling of Works (staffing and planning)Client management, face to face and remoteProject Communications (including reporting internally and externally to all stakeholders as required, daily site reporting, as built updates)All aspects of the onsite delivery of the project (including all H&S and Environmental responsibilities, logistics)Financial monitoring and reportingHandover and sign off to client (including assisting the timely production of O&Ms)Handover to Technical Service for ongoing system support Skills:Experience and practical knowledge of the installation and use of Lighting, Sound and AV systems.Ability to assist accurately with the costing of the supply, installation and commissioning of Lighting, Sound and AV systemsAble to work at height (IPAF/PASMA desirable.)Strong IT & CAD SkillsA thorough understanding of health and safety policies and CDM regulations with an ability to produce and compile risk assessments and method statements and to be proactive in implementing H&S policy and procedure.A good level of electrical knowledge and practices pertaining to installationsPersonal Competencies and Behaviours: A high level of attention to detailA good team member with excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead team's on and off site, often in a high pressured environmentAbility to manage customer expectationsDeadline conscious-highly organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task managing a challenging workload and meet strict deadlinesExcellent time management and planning skillsTo carry out your duties/responsibilities in a manner that reflects the WL core values at all times If you believe you can fulfil this position then do not hesitate to apply today.
