.NET Developer

Leamington Spa

Role Purpose

To develop full stack web applications and internal system integrations, to help the firm increase efficiency, maintain effective compliance and data integrity.

Key Contribution Areas

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Work with our Business Analyst to scope out work from requirements gathering workshops

  2. Microsoft SQL database design and troubleshooting skills

  3. Write .NET/C full stack web applications

  4. Maintain version and change control of code with industry-standard tools, such as Microsoft TFS

  5. Perform regular 'code reviews' with other team members

  6. Attend 'planning poker' sessions to accurately estimate work effort

  7. Run 'show and tell' sessions with stakeholders to demonstrate development output from their requirements

  8. Work with Business Analyst to outline acceptance criteria and facilitate User Acceptance Testing

  9. Be the 'development expert' in the eyes of the firm

  10. Support end users in person, by email and telephone
