Project Architect | London | RIBA Chartered Practice

Salary: Competitive based on experience

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established, RIBA Chartered Architectural and Planning Practice based in London. They are looking for an experienced client-facing Project Architect to join their successful practice in Greenwich. You will be joining an established team of experienced staff where you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, including the refurbishment of old structures, and new build low-rise/mid-rise residential development in both urban and rural settings. You will also share responsibility for general operations of the office, and become an integral part of their rapidly expanding firm.

You should be proficient in AutoCAD and Revit and Microstation would be desirable.

Working as a Project Architect you must:

  • Be Part 3 RIBA qualified with 5 years post qualification experience.
  • Be a Project Architect and have strong UK based experience of Building and Planning regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • A UK driving license and your own car would be desirable.

Working as a Project Architect you will:

  • Communicate with all members of your design team
  • Attending and manage site meetings
  • Assist senior team members in the preparation of a project programme
  • Be in charge of overseeing and running various project across the residential and commercial sectors
  • Providing leadership, direction, and daily supervision.
  • Managing client relations and, monitoring and evaluating the project as it progresses to ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects meet the needs and aspirations of the clients.
  • Organising project programming, internal resourcing (workloads), scheduling team members and overseeing multiple projects
