Recruit Right are current recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for a Customer Service Coordinator to join their customer service team on a 10 month maternity contract. Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, the Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for achieving excellent service standards, key performance indicators and deliver a fast, reliable and cost effective premium service to the company's internal and external customers.

The Customer Service Coordinator will typically be responsible for a designated customer portfolio, but will act in a backup capacity for other customers as needed.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  • As a customer service coordinator you will be the direct link to the customers
  • Answering customers' questions and queries by phone and email
  • Providing quotations, order processing confirmation, order tacking, pricing and forecasting
  • Using SAP processes to provide the production planning team with forecast requirement
  • Use SAP, CRM to analyse data to anticipate and avoid potential problems
  • Produces weekly analysis reports e.g. forecasting, sales trends to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all export documentation is completed in line with delivery requirements and legal and regulatory requirements
  • Working knowledge of export documents to EU and None EU countries (Air / Sea and Road)
  • Meet department and organisational goals
  • Update master data in various systems
  • Supporting the Sales Team / Production / Planning and Quality
  • Updating customers on despatch details and if their orders will arrive on time and in full

Professional Experience & Education Qualifications

  • Good Standard of secondary education
  • Previous customer service experience ideally within an engineering or manufacturing fir
  • Experience of SAP and creating Export documentation
  • Understanding of Export compliance
  • Proficient knowledge and application of MS suite, SAP and CRM

Previous experience in Customer Service is essential and excellent verbal and written communication is a must. You will be working within an open planned office with 10 other members of staff, the customer service team is a small team who are always striving to provide the highest level of customer care.

  • Working Hours Monday - Thursday - 8:00am - 4:45pm / Friday 8am - 12:30pm
  • 30 minute lunch
  • Salary £22 - £25k Pro Rata
  • 10% bonus at the end of the contact
