Two form entry junior school in Haringey, North London is seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to start as soon as possible.

This lovely school is based in a lovely part of North London, with good links to public transport and parking available.
The Headteacher, who has been at the school for many years, has a strong determination to continually strive for even higher standards and has a dedicated team in place to help achieve this.
The school requires an experienced teaching assistant with SEN experience. You will predominately be working with a child with Autism (ASD) and will be working on a 1:1 basis and also in the class. You will be working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, parents and on occasions external agencies.
A warm, caring and enthusiastic approach is required and definitely a sense of fun!
You must meet the following criteria to be considered for this role:
- Experience with children with SEN (Autism/ASD)
- Excellent communication skills(you will be dealing with many colleagues/professionals/parents in the role
- A patient, calm and perseverant approach
- Very good team skills and a good sense of humour!
