JOB TITLE: Housing and Litigation Solicitor
PQE REQUIRED: 2+
LOCATION: North Yorkshire
SALARY: Competitive Hourly Rate
The successful Housing and Litigation Solicitor will be responsible for their own Housing (Social Landlord) law caseload with specific exposure to anti-social behaviour. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of the use of various remedies to tackle anti-social behaviour including injunctions and committal applications. You must have local authority housing experience and experience of dealing with civil litigation matters, ie debt work.
This role would be best suited to a Solicitor that boasts a minimum of 2 years PQE and who has experience of representing clients in County Court hearings. The postholder is required for a period of 6 weeks with an ideal start date of 3rd June 2019. This is a part time role of 3 days per week and our client is flexible on which days you should choose to work.
Our client is a public sector body who can offer a mixed and busy case load to the right candidate within their in-house team.
