Would you describe yourself as friendly, positive and innovative? Would a career where you can develop these attributes within a person-centred environment motivate you? Would you love the opportunity to make a real difference to our Young People's lives? Then we need your support!

A warm welcome awaits you in our specialist service providing supported accommodation for young people who are leaving care, at risk of being homeless or are seeking asylum. Based on the outskirts of Bristol, we understand the need to support young people and prepare them through transition to independence and adult life. We pride ourselves on providing good quality support and guidance within a safe and secure environment.

We are now seeking a caring, committed and compassionate Team Leader to join our aspirational 16+ Services team.

We are seeking candidates who come from a residential / supported living background within either a Support Worker or Team Leader role. We are looking for courageous and committed individuals who can communicate these attributes within a challenging yet rewarding environment. The Team Leader will oversee the general running of the home as well as being responsible for safeguarding, referrals and reporting to the senior management team. In return, we will provide you with superb training and progression opportunities, in tandem with good rates of pay and a benefits package. We are looking for enthusiastic, person-centred individuals who share the same passion for care as we do! You will also possess a Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma or equivalent, or be working towards this qualification. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

All of our young people are individuals with their own life story, wishes and feelings; sometimes they need support and this is where you come in to help them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Why CareTech?

  • We provide superb FREE training to achieve qualifications in Social Care

  • We have a proven progression path - most of those who started as Support Workers are now Residential Managers

  • We offer competitive rates of pay, along with an impressive benefits package including an employee assistance helpline, flexible additional holiday purchase scheme, childcare vouchers, stakeholder pension scheme, share save scheme

  • We offer apprenticeships to those with less experience looking to get into the sector

Due to the nature of the role, we will pay for you to complete an enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check, prior to starting with us.
