This is an exciting position as part of the Learning Disability Service within Adult Social Care & Health, East Sussex County Council. You will be part of an elite team providing support to the Senior Management. This is an interesting and diverse role that includes arranging meetings, minute taking, preparing & maintaining records, arranging and delivering training along with some key lead area responsibilities. Being able to translate information from databases is an essential element of this role, therefore extensive use of Excel spreadsheets, Word, PowerPoint & general ICT etc., is pivotal. Having great organisational skills to being a creative thinker, with a good work ethic in a professional environment is required. Both posts may occasionally require to travel to the other office or other LD DPS services to cover annual leave/sickness which could involve some reception duties if required.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced administrative role within Adult Social Care & Health, East Sussex County Council. Successful applicants will be providing full administrative support to a friendly and helpful team within their office base and remotely to the other offices. Both posts will primarily be responsible for the day to day office support for the whole service and will work closely together with Senior Management. As part of your development you will receive regular supervisions and training opportunities. You will need to have experience in minute taking, be able to multi-task and have a good working knowledge of Excel, inputting onto spreadsheets and databases with accuracy and be able to work independently.

SLT/SAT is a generic service working with all client groups in Adult Social Care & Health. This administrative role is interesting and varied as you are supporting a team who recruits, assesses and monitors providers/careers alongside assessing, matching and reviewing the accommodation and support needs for vulnerable adults in East Sussex. As part of the roles, you will also be required to process applications, organise, prepare paperwork for and minute Provider Approval Panels, working with the mangers to ensure regular Panel Meetings run smoothly and are recorded clearly and accurately in council systems.

(Part Time Working Pattern: Mon & Tue 9am to 5pm and Wed 9am to 1pm)
