Indirect Procurement Manager
VetPartners has grown - since formation 2015 - to an organisation with 150 veterinary practices, with 450 sites, in the UK, VetPartners now has a strong representation in Italy and France with a number of other European countries coming on board.
The organisation now provides a lush green-field for a purchasing professional to look at indirect procurement across numerous categories. This role will look initially at Utilities, with IT / Technology and Telecoms also being areas in which improved value can be brought to over 450 sites.
Our Central Support team is based in York - where the role will be based; though there'll be liaison within a friendly and positive organisation, with strong values.
Indirect Procurement Manager Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute various strategies to increase procurement coverage, ensuring competitive advantage and sustainable year-on-year improvements in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation.
• Lead and execute sourcing projects including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management and contract execution.
• Perform total cost of ownership evaluations and supply-market research, and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis in the pursuit of continuous cost improvements.
Indirect Procurement Manager Requirements:
An expert negotiator and influencer.

Comfortable with Change management.
Creative in outlook when problem solving.
Excited by innovation and new opportunities.
Up to date on contract language and legislative requirements.
Experience in sourcing, contracting & project management.
Relevant category experience in the Energy, Utilities / IT and Telecoms area preferred.
Sourcing experience with a similarly large organisation.
Proven experience in executing sourcing strategies to deliver measurable cost savings.
CPSM, CIPS or 6 Sigma (Preferred)
