Business Development Manager - Leading Serviced Apartments Provider

Central London

Due to ambitious growth plans, my client, a leading serviced apartments provider, offering a wide range of high-quality properties globally to the corporate, leisure and relocation markets is seeking a Business Development Manager to focus on the corporate market.

The Business Development Manager role is very much focused on new business development within the corporate market, from initially identifying the prospective client, arranging meetings, creating proposals, and ultimately closing the business.

To be considered, applicants must have experience in selling travel/accommodation solutions to the corporate market gained from either within a travel management company, serviced apartments provider market or a corporate sales within a hotel.

This role will be permanently office based in Central London when not out meeting clients.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:

Identify and develop opportunities for business growth focus both on financial gain and customer satisfaction

Promote the company's business and improve profits while undertaking continual market research to keep up with the on-going trends and markets, to develop the marketing strategy and new ideas

Arrange business meetings with perspective clients and prepare presentations

Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

Deliver first-class customer service to all clients

Attend seminars, conferences, and events where appropriate to network and develop business

Business Development Manager Experience and Skills Required:

Previous experience of selling travel/accommodation solutions to corporate clients such as Relocation Companies, Law Firms, Banking Organisations and TMCs

Previous Sales experience to include leads sourcing and a consultative new business approach

Proven track record of development of new business

Relationships or understanding of corporate clients such as Relocation Companies, Law Firms, Banking Organisations and TMCs.

Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

Exceptional negotiation and closing skills

Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
