About the role

As a Class 2 Driver (LGV), you’ll be working as part of this team, where you will be primarily responsible for delivering from a multi-temperature vehicle and delivering to multiple customers. You will also be responsible for unloading goods and ensuring that they are delivered accurately and on time to all our customers. There is also a degree of paperwork involved and you will be expected to reconcile/complete all associated paperwork and relevant documentation via a hand-held terminal, as well as liaising with the depot office regarding any issues. As a Class 2 driver (LGV), you will also be required to complete all routine vehicle checks, maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness, report any vehicle damage and comply with all EU driving and work time regulations.

This role will require you to work 5 days out of 7, but there may also be weekend work involved from time to time.

A bit about you

To be considered for this position, you will be required to have a full LGV Class C licence, possess a digital tachograph card and driver’s qualification card. We’re also looking for that team player quality, an individual who relishes being part of a team and who supports our core values. You will also need to possess a customer-centric attitude and enjoy the challenge and care that goes with helping our customers succeed, as well as taking pride in being the face of our company.

Ideally, you will have experience of working as a Class 2 driver (LGV) and worked in a similar role, including liaising with customers and have strong customer-facing skills. Knowledge of Food Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and experience or similar are desirable, but not essential.
