Contract (Full time)
Marketplace Technical is proud to be recruiting exclusively on behalf of the global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer that has entered into an agreement with the UK Government to fill finish COVID-19 vaccines. The manufacturing will be undertaken at the company's site in Wrexham, North Wales.
Shifts; Various shifts are available
Working environment; You will be working in a dedicated GMP inspection facility, manually inspecting glass vials, to procedure. You will be required to be based in an inspection booth, working with a light box (see image). Inspection work will be one hour of highly focused activity, followed by an eye break, repeated throughout the day.
Dress Code; Hair net, beard snood (if applicable), white overcoat and white safety shoes will be provided. No jewellery (apart from a plain wedding band), no make up, no nail varnish. Clean practical clothing to be worn underneath the overcoat, such as jeans and a t-shirt.
Key Skills; The ability to effectively following procedures and practices to cGMP standards is paramount. You will be enthusiastic, committed and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and pride in your work. Ideally you will have worked in a pharmaceutical, food or chemical environment previously, but it is not essential for this role as full training will be given (both practical and PC based training). Good written and spoken English is required and ideally you will have your own transport
Security Checks; Background checks will be carried out and an on-site Medical is required prior to commencement of this assignment.
Location; The company is based on Wrexham Industrial estate. Site car parking is provided, although limited. There is a staff restaurant on site as well as vending machines and facilities to store your own lunch.
Induction; Successful candidates will be required to attend an induction day before going on to the shift pattern
