We are delighted to be working in partnership with our established, professional and forward thinking client as they seek to recruit a warehouse supervisor to join their team
This role is based in the Farnborough area, however there is a need to travel around twice a week to their site in Kent ME13 area (a company vehicle will be provided for commute between sites)
Monday to Friday permanent full time role plus every other Saturday on a rosta basis. When you work a Saturday you'll get a day off the following week. 40 hours per week
Full driving licence essential
Forklift licence highly desirable
To be responsible for the effective running of the inventory facilities. To be responsible for the effective control and management of materials into and out of the facilities. To assist the Manager in the development of materials control processes.
To be responsible for the control and reporting of material movements within the organisation
To be responsible for ensuring all inventory holding/reporting to a 97% reported accuracy factor across the business.
To be responsible for the safety and environmental issues of inventory facilities.
Assist the Manager and the HSEQ department to control waste management and other elements to ensure the Company maintains its HSEQ requirements.
Assisting with the organisation and upkeep of stores areas including accessories and components
Ensuring the store areas are kept clean and tidy with easy access and locating of all products and parts
Assist the Manager in improving materials management processes.
Assist the Manager in preparing documentation and facilitating client and regulatory body Inventory audits
Delivery of material as required to crews on site
Any other tasks that may reasonably be required in line with your main duties
Knowledge and Skills:
High standard of written English and good communication skills, including a professional telephone manner
Good IT skills, including excel
Ability to work on a Saturday as required (every other with a day off in the week )
Education and Qualifications required
Full Clean UK Driving Licence
Forklift licence / experience
Manual Handling experience
