Our popular clients based within Southwold are a traditional gastro pub.
They are currently looking for a strong, hard working Sous Chef, to join their dedicated brigade.
The property consists of a charming, friendly bar and dining area.Serving only the freshest food, this property takes great pride in sourcing and serving the best catch each day. As well as seafood the property also serves delicious home made dishes from the stoves and ovens.
The property produces high volume, and you should therefore have previous experience, working within a fast paced, high volume kitchen.
As Sous Chef you will be:
- Working to maintain the already high standards set within the property
- Providing valuable support to the Head Chef
- Helping to train and guide the more junior Chefs.

Qualifications and Experience Required for this Sous Chef position:
- NVQ Level 1 and/or 2
- Experience working in fresh food establishment
- Excellent understanding of food, hygiene and safety
