Production Coordinator, Red Button & Live Streaming
Job Introduction BBC Sport (Live Events Platform/Red Button) is the broadcasting home of every significant sporting tournament across the year: from the Olympics and Paralympics to the World Cup; 144 live Premier League football commentaries each season; on demand clips of every FA Cup goal and key England cricket moments; live free-to-air commentaries of every tennis and golf major plus International cricket; and live streams of Olympic sports, snooker, multiple Wimbledon courts to name a few - we have it covered.
BBC Sport’s strategy is to grow its digital services which will allow audiences to consume live long form content across a range of platforms. Developing the way we deliver short form video across digital and social media we are looking to engage with a younger audience delivering the content when and where they want it.
We are looking to recruit a Production Coordinator to join the Live Events Platform/Red Button team and help deliver more live and on demand sport to the audience into the 2020’s.

Role Responsibility The successful candidates will provide logistical and coordination support to the production team on one or more productions, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
Reporting to a Production Manager, you'll work in partnership with editorial colleagues to deliver the outstanding, distinctive, multi-platform content that BBC Sport is renowned for, by providing creative ways to realise editorial ambitions within operational and financial constraints.
Are you the right candidate? For the ideal candidate, an interest and understanding of the variety of content produced across Digital Sport would be beneficial.
You will have demonstrable working knowledge of end-to-end production processes and experience of delivering a range of Productions often with complex logistical requirements.
Whilst this is your primary role, you may also be asked to work across different programmes, outputs or platforms.
