Job Description

Working for a global leader in manufacturing of video shared storage with some fantastic opportunities in our production department. This will be an allencompassing role that will include system assembly, testing, software installation, dispatch, administration and stock control. We are looking for someone with a good work ethic, good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, time management and administration strengths. The successful candidate would be selfmotivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Good attendance and punctuality is required.

  • Good understanding of working in similar high technology environment
  • Have Interest in computer hardware

Qualifications and Skills

  • Comp TIA A+, Server + certificate desirable (but not essential)
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Basic Word MSX skills required

Responsibilities and Duties Assisting with all aspects of the manufacturing process, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Server assembly to precise requirements
  • Installing of the operating system
  • Troubleshooting
  • Logging of all stock movement and performing monthly stock checks
  • Preparing shipping and customs paperwork
  • Goods in and out processing
  • Purchasing of component parts
  • Producing and maintaining manufacturing documentation
  • Fully contributing to the process of continuous improvements and company goal of achieving zero defects
