People. Cant run a business without them well, unless its some Elon Musk Tesla type business.

Anyhow, youll be glad to know, for this we need actual humans. Preferably, humans that are interested in sports and betting. Its okay if not, but it helps when Sky Sports is on all day, every day, on multiple TVs around the office. (At least youll never miss Transfer Deadline Day because of work again).

Youre a human? Fantastic, youve got the first requirement of the HR Manager.

Now, this may sound the like ramblings of a mad person and you may be right, but it links nicely into this:

Having grown to around 50 people (humans) and recently having a company restructure with plans to continue building on each team, this online sports media company is on the up.

So, the job, Grace (thats me), as an HR Manager, you are going to be involved in the day to day running of HR and will act as a standalone HR function. Dont worry, there will be a support structure to help you from our wider group of businesses to answer any burning questions you might need help with.

You name it, youre involved, day to day HR duties, strategy, disciplinaries (humans are more unpredictable than robots), recruitment and HR policy and compliance.

What about qualifications for the HR advisor position, do you need them? Ideally yes, a Level 5 CIPD only gives you the confidence to make decisions and know youre right, but you do have a highly qualified Group HR Manager as part of the group to provide you the support thats needed.

Now I understand this has been a jokey approach to an advert, but I can tell you they take their employees seriously:

25 days holiday, flexible working, company trips to sporting events like Ascot Races/whole company parties in casinos, and a dress down social company culture.

Sound like the company for you? Apply and see for yourself.
