We have a unique opportunity available for a Microsoft Sales Specialist to join our Public Sector Solutions team.

You will work closely with Microsoft and other 3rd party partners involved in cloud focused solution stacks, to grow partner relationships, as well as working closely with the Healthcare vertical. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to work with technology leaders within Public Sector accounts to help shape their digital transformation strategy through the use of Microsoft are looking for someone who thrives in building strategic relationships within a customer base, has a solid understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies and licensing models to provide stakeholders with confidence that Insight is the partner of choice when helping them shape their digital ideal candidate will have experience as a direct client contact as well as having experience building internal relationships, knowing when to leverage Insights vast services division to provide truly compelling solutions around cloud technology and digital innovation.
The role will be on a National level working with our healthcare vertical, but may extend beyond this at a future point.
This is a new position so will allow the successful candidate to shape and define the role around what they need to achieve.
The ideal candidate will be sales focussed, self-driven and motivated with a passion for technology. Duties will include: Working with account teams to uncover opportunitiesEngaging with clients face-to-face or virtually in order to position Insight as a partner of choiceAccountable for the achievement of revenue and profit-based targetsAgree upon, create, and implement against a Microsoft strategic plan for each client in the portfolio based upon client pain points and subsequent business goalsConducting frequent strategic reviews of progress against client account plans and proactively put in place corrective activity for plans that are off trackWorking within the Public Sector Solutions team to provide thought leadership in order to help drive service design based on market and technology trendsOwning the relationships with technology executives within the account baseProviding technical sales leadership both internally and externally, combining your technology and commercial experience to develop successful strategy around digital transformation Skills required: Considerable consultative and sales experience in the Microsoft technology stack, particularly Microsoft Cloud technologies and Software Licensing propositions, with evidence of prior success and consistent overachievement against targetsA self-developer, acts as a role model, invests time in their own development and encourage others to succeedExtensive client facing sales experience, particularly at a strategic level.
Able to win client confidence and deliver client presentations with professional authority and easeA team player who can work successfully within a diverse team in a mutually supportive way including technical and sales teammates in multiple/virtual locations across the UK and EuropeSolid understanding of Microsoft technologies.
