A close knit service organisation are recruiting for a Housing Support Worker for their supported living service. You will work with care leavers between 16 - 18 year olds for their services in Gloucester & 1 client in Cheltenham) who may have complex needs, trauma backgrounds, isolated from families, low self-esteem and confidence who may display challenging behaviour.

Main job duties:

• Support clients with everyday duties . cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc
• Manage them through their Support Plans (maintain good health and diet)
• Encourage them with future goals they would like to achieve
• Deliver person centred support & promoting independence
• Manage your own calendars which may require some evenings & weekend work
• Key working

Contract / terms:

• Salary is £20,000 - £22,500 per annum = £ - £ an hour
• Full time contract hours per week
• Sleep-ins are not contracted but maybe required

Qualifying candidates:

• Have a year's experience working with young people
• Must be a driver with your own car
