Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland , we make a real difference in supporting people with their everyday lives.
We have an exciting opportunity in Perth, to support a young individual with Autism who is looking to move to her tenancy.
A big part of the role will be helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle.
This will also involve practical support with the person's daily life, personal care and tasks required to maintain a tenancy.
As the individual loves the outdoors in all weather, dancing, music, swimming and trampolining, you need to be physically active and enjoy being outside.
A positive attitude is essential in this post as well as the commitment to developing opportunities for new activities and relationships within the local community.
The individual has limited verbal communication and challenging behaviour so it would be helpful if you have had experience of working in this kind of service previously but not essential.
Bank members of staff cover staff leave, training, sickness and any other staff absences.
The individual requires 24 hours support and your core hours of work will be 12:00 to 20:00
- back shift and a 10:00 to 10:00
- 24 hour shift.
Additional shifts will be available to fit in with your other commitments.
Not only will you get a great sense of achievement but in return, you can expect fantastic career progression opportunities, award-winning training and a positive enjoyable working environment.
Previous experience is great but a full training program is offered to everyone who joins The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, so even if this is a new career path for you, we would love to meet you.
